Pinocchia — A Musical About a Little Wooden Girl

PINOCCHIA

A Musical about a Little Wooden Girl

BOOK and LYRICS by JUNE RACHELSON-OSPA

MUSIC and LYRICS by C. MICHAEL PERRY

PINOCCHIA wants to be a real girl in this post-apocalyptic world where her long-lost brother, Pinocchio, made it to the Big Time. This show also takes us back to a beginning of the tale, where Vittorio Genarro (the theatre puppet master), ‘sees’ his recently deceased wife, and daughter,  who lift him as he remembers them. Vittorio has constructed a marvelous marionette, Pinocchia, (named in memory of her daughter) who learns much as her long-lost cousin chose to do — trial and error — until the cousins meet.
